Futallaby is a PHP Imageboard script first published in November 22, 2003. The name is a portmaneau of Futatsu (Two) and Lullaby. It is fork of 2chan's Futaba Script v031015[1] made by members of the Raspberry Heaven community. Namely: thatdog with collaboration from moot and terra.
Development History[edit]
Futallaby started development in November 10, 2003, released v031222 on December 22, 2003 and a final version v040103 on January 3, 2004. Development stopped at some point, after a falling out between moot and thatdog. Futallaby's sudden development stop saw it be supplanted by Waha's Wakaba.[2]
In 4chan's case, W.T. Snacks took over as 4chan's webdev, announcing v081404 in August 14 2004, a frontend update with several new features and UI changes.[2]
At some point between 2005 and 2010 (with a max date of 2012), 4chan's Futallaby codebase was completely phased out by what's today known as Yotsuba Script.
Features[edit]
