Usage
These usage notes will not be included in articles bearing this template.
This is a navigational template (navbox) for articles related to 4chan Boards.
It has three primary variations that affect titles and most boards:
- Default: Links to 4chan/[board]
- Timeline: Links to 4chan/History/[board]
- Chronicle: Links to 4chan/Chronicle/[board]
And a secondary variation that enables a table containing former boards.
It is intended to act as the "hub" for active pages in the 4chan Timeline Project or the (possibly, in the future) 4chan Chronicle Project, and other potential 4chan Portal pages.
As it's intended to work with a small number of centralized projects (and, as of writing, there's only a handful board pages in any category), it is independent - boards are assumed to be without pages, will appear stricken through, and must be manually opened each time the template is called. If more generic board pages get made, a dependent fork should be made.
Parameters
General parameters:
format= empty or any (Default) / timeline (History/) / chronicle (Chronicle/) former= empty or any (reveals former board table) open_all= empty or any (de-strikes all boards)
Boards that change wiki links with format:
Boards: All except /j/ Former Boards: None except /qa/
Following paramaters de-strickens a board or group:
Boards:
open_[board]
Boards: All in except j Former Boards: None except qa, q, rs
