711chan was an imageboard that was involved in Project Chanology created by Jewlion focusing on topics related to technology and hacking. There is a revival of 711chan made by someone under the name of "Lolwut".

The site got attraction from the November 2007 drama fest of 7chan. The site also got popular due to the /i/ board on there. In 2009, the site was temporarily taken down due to the FBI finding a video of a cat drowning.
A security vuln was discovered in 2010 in which it was exploited to show a GIF of the a cat (from the "NEDM" YTMND fad) playing a trumpet with "Carnival Night Zone" from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 playing. However, the vuln was quickly patched and everything turned back to normal.
In March 2023, the revival made by Lolwut would be raided by Soyjak.party.
